Base Salary
$50k - $60k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade applications leveraging large language models.
- Architect and implement multi-step and multi-agent workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
- Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with embeddings, vector databases, vector search, and reranking mechanisms.
- Lead LLM fine-tuning efforts using techniques such as LoRA and QLoRA.
- Develop advanced prompt engineering techniques to improve model performance, consistency, and safety.
- Use AI-powered coding tools to generate, refactor, optimize, test, and integrate frontend and backend applications.
- Own end-to-end implementation across the frontend and backend.
- Expose Python-based AI and LLM functionality through Java services and use Java multithreading where appropriate.
- Collaborate with team leads, managers, QA, product managers, and US-based teams, including partial US working hours.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- At least five years of professional software development experience, including at least two years focused on AI/ML development with LLMs.
- Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience integrating major public and private or local LLM APIs, including Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, and Ollama.
- At least one year of deep practical experience with LangChain and LangGraph for complex LLM applications and agentic workflows.
- Practical experience with Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot, including safely validating AI-generated code for production.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, vector search, embeddings, and reranking.
- Experience using generative AI coding tools for code generation, refactoring, optimization, and full-stack application development.
- React and REST API integration experience is a plus.
- Hands-on Java experience, especially integrating Java modules with Python modules, is preferred but not required.
- Industry or market knowledge of ESG and sustainability is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, ownership, and ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
