Responsibilities
- Develop and refine infrastructure for creating, training, evaluating, deploying, and managing machine learning models and pipelines.
- Collaborate with product teams including Jira and Confluence on ML solutions, datasets, large language models, and infrastructure challenges.
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant, high-performance distributed ML systems.
- Lead projects from technical design through launch and partner across engineering teams on company-wide initiatives.
- Write and review code, documentation, and bug fixes while mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building machine learning and AI infrastructure, platforms, or systems.
- Proven end-to-end ML lifecycle expertise, including data engineering, model deployment, serving, and monitoring.
- Extensive experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant, high-performance distributed systems for machine learning.
- Good proficiency in Python and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Some experience with MLOps, automation, continuous training, deployment, and model monitoring.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and AI/ML services or GPU compute resources.
- Preferred: experience with Spark, Ray, or Dask for large-scale distributed data processing.
- Preferred: performance optimization experience for ML models and infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience developing or fine-tuning LLMs and building RAG systems.
