Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Alpaca's algo trading platform.
- Write high-quality code for both frontend and backend systems.
- Make critical decisions regarding system architecture and design.
- Optimize for low latency and high throughput performance.
- Collaborate with a small, dynamic team to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with a focus on trading or exchange systems.
- Proficiency in low and high-level programming languages such as C/C++, Go, Java, and Python.
- Experience with low latency and high throughput optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and concurrency control.
- Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Risk Management Systems (RMS).
