Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, configuration, testing, rollout, and end-to-end deployment of Reducto in customer environments ranging from VPCs to bare-metal on-premises systems.
- Partner with enterprise IT, security, and platform teams to assess infrastructure, security posture, and data management practices and design tailored deployment strategies.
- Understand the hardware powering Reducto’s in-house ML models to support deployment on customer infrastructure.
- Build monitoring, telemetry, and phone-home patterns that provide visibility into customer-controlled environments without compromising security.
- Debug and resolve customer-specific infrastructure issues, including Kubernetes misconfigurations and cloud IAM edge cases.
- Own incident response and operational excellence for customer deployments.
- Codify successful approaches into repeatable deployment patterns, runbooks, and automation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience operating production infrastructure, including meaningful experience deploying software into environments outside the engineer’s full control.
- Comfort with Python or similar programming languages.
- Strong experience across cloud platforms, container orchestration such as Kubernetes, networking, and storage technologies.
- Ability to diagnose infrastructure problems live with external engineering teams and establish trusted paths forward.
- Ability to own customer problems end to end and build diagnostic tools, dashboards, and automated remediation workflows.
- Quantitative, hands-on approach to system operations, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Preferred experience deploying software into regulated financial services, healthcare, legal, or insurance environments.
- Preferred experience with Replicated/KOTS, Helm, or similar enterprise distribution tooling.
- Preferred experience with GPU infrastructure, model serving, or AI/ML workload deployment on customer-controlled hardware.
- Preferred experience at an early-stage, high-growth company as a founder, founding engineer, or early deployment hire.
