Responsibilities
- Provide software application engineering support for larger and more complex applications and project areas.
- Perform application build and deployment activities and independently deploy QAT or UAT environments.
- Design, implement, configure, program, and test application components and technical architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance-related issues, including regression issues identified by testing teams.
- Ensure coding standards through design reviews, coding, and unit testing.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and use cases and estimate assigned work.
- Maintain the integrity of development, test, QA, and staging environments.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers, designers, architects, and testing teams.
- Lead process improvement and technical automation efforts.
- Provide status updates and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proven web development experience using the listed or similar technologies.
- Experience working with and supporting operational systems.
- Knowledge of web development patterns and modern development patterns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server development and scripting or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of MVC or a similar framework is preferred.
- Experience with other scripting or database technologies is preferred.
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance is required.
