Base Salary
$210k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a vision for the future and set the technical architecture for the Intercom product line.
- Drive product ideas from conception to completion.
- Focus on delivering best-in-class products and experiences.
- Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers.
- Tackle complex problems with no clear answers.
Requirements
- BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Linux development as a Software Engineer.
- Proficient in C/C++ programming.
- Familiar with Linux servers, device drivers, and kernel patches.
- Preferred experience with embedded Linux, cameras, and audio systems.
- Experience with Bash scripting and Yocto.
- Familiarity with Secure Boot, Go, Python, and WebRTC.
- Experience with Distributed Systems and understanding of HTTP.
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week and travel internationally twice a year.
