Base Salary
$154k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize a low-latency, high-throughput AI Security plane using Rust asynchronous programming and service-oriented architecture.
- Build resilient, distributed, scalable systems with concurrency, fault tolerance, and robust messaging protocols.
- Implement and maintain gRPC services and APIs integrating the AI Security plane with control and orchestration infrastructure.
- Improve performance across the stack, including LLM models, using kernel-space and user-space profiling tools.
- Lead complex, multifunctional projects, define the technical roadmap, and drive execution across teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep systems programming experience with Rust and asynchronous frameworks such as Tokio or async-std.
- Experience designing horizontally scalable, highly available, and observable distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals, kernel-user space interaction, networking, sockets, and namespaces.
- Experience with performance instrumentation, containerized environments, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred expertise in C, C++, or Rust systems programming and performance optimization.
- Preferred understanding of Linux networking stacks, Kubernetes networking, service meshes, and LLM model optimization.
- Preferred practical experience with gRPC, Protobufs, L4-L7 networking protocols, TCP/IP, TLS, QUIC, HTTP, and WebSockets/WSS.
