Responsibilities

  • Develop quality strategies for large programs and multiple products or services.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to identify and manage software delivery risks.
  • Conduct exploratory, functional, cross-functional, performance, security, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
  • Drive consistent test automation approaches, tooling, testability, naming, service contracts, and quality dashboards across teams.
  • Improve clean code, tests, testability, and quality practices across on-premise and cloud architectures.
  • Use delivery metrics to improve lead time, deployment frequency, mean time to recovery, and change fail rate.
  • Coach team members and mentor junior Quality Analysts on quality and testing mindsets.
  • Advocate for quality within the company and the broader technology community, including through conferences.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Quality Analyst within a wider development team and collaborating with developers, business analysts, infrastructure engineers, and designers.
  • Extensive experience with TDD, BDD, CI/CD, the Test Pyramid, and the Swiss cheese model.
  • Experience with agile practices, code management, deployment strategies, migration strategies, and release management.
  • Ability to drive quality improvements across on-premise and cloud architectures.
  • Experience designing quality strategies and testing across different architectures and domain models.
  • Knowledge of user experience and user research, including prototyping, personas, and A/B testing.
  • Ability to influence teammates and senior leaders and foster inclusive, collaborative teams.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
