Base Salary
$400k - $700k/yr
Responsibilities
- Influence and implement the next generation of database and container orchestration infrastructure.
- Scale and evolve Kubernetes (EKS), CockroachDB clusters, and Kafka (MSK).
- Introduce and scale best practices with cloud-native technologies like AWS ALB and OpenSearch.
- Build and maintain abstractions within Terraform and Pulumi to simplify architecture.
- Improve the speed and reliability of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Solve scaling, performance, and low-latency problems across a monolithic deployment.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in high-availability systems infrastructure.
- Production experience in AWS services like EKS, ALB, and S3.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or another object-oriented language.
- Ability to identify and resolve internal engineering requirements effectively.
- Deep experience in large-scale distributed SQL databases or real-time workflow systems.
