Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
- Consult with users and stakeholders to understand workflows and identify high-impact opportunities.
- Turn recurring user needs into primitives, platforms, or middleware supporting multiple use cases.
- Build tools that increase autonomy and creative freedom for less-technical users.
- Make product and prioritization decisions and own outcomes from idea through launch.
- Iterate on products based on feedback to improve the user experience.
- Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and domains as the product evolves.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production software, ideally full-stack.
- Proficiency across Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience building platforms, primitives, or internal tools that others build on top of.
- A track record of independently shipping products.
- Ability to operate independently, think in systems and abstractions, empower users, make decisions with incomplete information, and work effectively amid ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

- Annual salary range of £255,000—£325,000 GBP.
- Hybrid policy requiring staff to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
