Responsibilities
- Develop new features in Swift for RBC’s mobile banking application.
- Apply appropriate design and architectural patterns to support application scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
- Write testable code and use iOS unit testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, testers, user-experience, security, and fraud teams.
- Continuously improve, simplify, and refactor the application.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing iOS applications in Swift.
- Experience developing user interfaces with both SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, MVVM, and iOS application architecture.
- Experience with iOS unit testing frameworks and writing code designed for testing.
- Experience with Xcode, Git, and other development and source control tools.
- Understanding of IT standards, UX design, accessibility, and agile methodologies.
- Preferred qualifications include Kotlin Multiplatform, AI-assisted development platforms, Objective-C, banking, mobile payments, OAuth 2/OIDC, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web services experience.
