Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, configure, deploy, and support source-system interfaces, integration configurations, data pipelines, and healthcare exchange services.
- Evaluate source-system requirements, interface specifications, data flows, and integration dependencies.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, message routing, interface configuration, integration testing, defect resolution, and production-support activities.
- Support EHR, claims, public-health, HIE, FHIR, HL7, MLLP, and other healthcare data integrations.
- Coordinate facility and vendor onboarding, interface deployments, testing, troubleshooting, and technical implementation activities.
- Maintain interface configurations, implementation artifacts, technical runbooks, operational documentation, and other integration materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of related professional experience.
- Extensive experience with healthcare interoperability, source-system integration, interface configuration, and enterprise application integration.
- Strong experience with data mapping, transformation, message routing, interface deployment, and troubleshooting across complex healthcare data flows.
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, MLLP, APIs, data pipelines, healthcare interface engines, and enterprise integration technologies.
- Additional experience with Java, scripting, XML, JSON, SQL, Apache NiFi, configuration management, source code management, integration testing, and production support.
- Experience supporting EHR, claims, public-health, HIE, and FHIR-based integrations in enterprise healthcare environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, and autonomous problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting federal healthcare programs or government healthcare organizations is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required, along with successful completion of a background check and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance when required.
- The candidate must reside within the continental United States.
