Base Salary
$129k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, integration, and optimization of data-driven software capabilities for GCCS-J.
- Design and implement scalable software architectures, data workflows, and event-driven services.
- Support the full software lifecycle, including development, integration, testing, debugging, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical leadership for cloud-native, containerized, mission-aligned software solutions.
- Develop software that improves real-time battlespace information and operational decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, associate degree with 10 years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with 12 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with event and messaging platforms including Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, GraphQL, and SSEs.
- Experience with SQL and key/value or object databases.
- Proficiency with Vue.js and Angular.
- Experience designing and implementing software architectures and deploying to Linux/UNIX and containerized environments.
- Secret clearance required to start; TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes Spring Boot, Node.js, NPM, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, automated testing tools, Docker, OCI, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, and Atlassian tools.
- Preferred knowledge includes UX and UI frameworks, networking, performance testing, debugging, DoD policies, C2 systems, STIGs, static analysis, military intelligence, and strategic planning.
