Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents with Node.js, LLM integrations, scalable backend services, and React frontends.
- Architect and manage AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure, databases, and end-to-end systems supporting AI workloads for thousands of users.
- Develop and optimize APIs that orchestrate AI agents, asynchronous processing, and complex workflows.
- Improve system performance, reliability, observability, scalability, availability, maintainability, and technical foundations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers on full-stack and AI best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience building and scaling full-stack applications, with strong backend, infrastructure, and end-to-end production delivery experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms and operating services for thousands of concurrent users.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architectures, API design, asynchronous processing, and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Go, or similar backend languages, plus SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with observability, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and clean, maintainable code.
- Preferred experience building LLM applications with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or similar frameworks and deploying and monitoring AI or ML models in production.
- Familiarity with tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, and structured output validation.
- Preferred experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies such as Pinecone, Weaviate, and Elasticsearch.
- Preferred experience with React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks and developer tools, APIs, or platform services.
- Experience implementing automated testing strategies is preferred.
