Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate MaintainX’s public-facing REST APIs.
- Implement platform standards and patterns such as authentication and versioning.
- Design and implement robust batch and bulk API operations.
- Decouple the REST API layer from monolithic dependencies.
- Build scaffolding, templates, and shared libraries for integration development.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
- Produce strong developer documentation and reference implementations.
- Contribute to the infrastructure for integrations in the marketplace.
- Enable automation-driven onboarding flows.
- Build standardized integration foundations for enterprise systems.
- Ensure integrations meet enterprise expectations around security and performance.
- Own production services and platform components end-to-end.
- Drive performance tuning and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with service-oriented backend development in TypeScript, Go, or C#.
- Experience with relational databases including schema design and query optimization.
- Solid foundation in distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience shipping production-grade APIs with a focus on developer experience.
- Strong testing mindset and hands-on CI/CD experience.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with various teams.
