Base Salary

$123k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
  • Contribute to front-end and back-end full-stack development, including performance-oriented systems
  • Build applications using modern front-end architecture principles and design patterns
  • Develop interactive map-based experiences with the ArcGIS JavaScript API and Esri Calcite Design System
  • Deploy and maintain applications in Linux environments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications in distributed Linux and cloud or cluster environments
  • Collaborate with product engineers, UX designers, domain experts, and technical specialists
  • Participate in Agile Scrum teams and iterative development cycles

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience focused on front-end or full-stack engineering
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience
  • Extensive experience developing, debugging, and deploying applications in Linux environments
  • Experience with HTML, DOM manipulation, CSS, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Understanding of front-end architecture, design patterns, and scalable application design
  • Experience with Node.js or similar back-end technologies
  • Hands-on Docker experience and familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud and distributed environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field
  • Preferred experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, C++, ArcGIS technologies, the Esri Calcite Design System, map-based web applications, AI/LLM integrations, RESTful services, API design, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
  • A master’s degree in computer science or a STEM-related field is preferred
