Base Salary
$198k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, maintenance, and lifecycle management of non-embedded software.
- Translate customer requirements into software product designs and oversee architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and documentation.
- Lead complex Java development for the System Planning and Scheduling team within the Advanced Ground Architecture program.
- Provide subsystem leadership, shepherd peer code reviews, mentor early- and mid-career developers, and support architecture and software system engineering decisions.
- Oversee software integration, debugging, optimization, reliability, process improvement, metrics, research, and compliance with industry and customer standards.
- Monitor software team and supplier performance, project management activities, cost, schedule, and product/process compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- 10+ years of experience with Java, C++, Angular/React.js, HTML, and CSS.
- 10+ years of experience with software configuration management tools.
- 10+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 14+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 18+ years of directly related experience, or 22+ years of related relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes software architecture, requirements traceability, host environments, software development and testing tools, verification and validation, certification systems, and compliance with software development standards.
