Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning systems and applications.
- Create, train, evaluate, fine-tune, and retrain machine learning models.
- Research and implement appropriate machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and tools.
- Transform data science prototypes into scalable machine learning solutions.
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods based on project requirements.
- Conduct machine learning tests and experiments and evaluate model performance.
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tune models based on testing and performance results.
- Extend and integrate existing machine learning libraries and frameworks when appropriate.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand company and client challenges and identify AI-enabled solution opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize areas where AI can provide business or technical benefits.
- Support AI research and development efforts aligned with organizational and client objectives.
- Apply software engineering, data modeling, and architectural principles when developing AI/ML solutions.
- Stay current with advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning models and systems.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Strong understanding of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
- Experience with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and use results to evaluate and fine-tune machine learning models.
- Experience selecting appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
- Experience conducting machine learning tests and experiments.
- Ability to develop robust code using Python, Java, and/or R.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Keras.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn.
- Junior level: 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Mid-level: 6+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years related to AI technologies.
- Senior level: 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years related to AI technologies.
- Preferred experience extending or customizing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Preferred experience transforming data science prototypes into production-ready solutions.
- Preferred experience evaluating emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Preferred experience working with multidisciplinary or cross-functional technical teams.
- Preferred experience identifying business or technical processes where AI and machine learning can provide measurable benefits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
