Responsibilities
- Develop and validate software for Qualcomm Modem-RF wireless chipsets.
- Develop drivers for Modem-RF transceivers in collaboration with RF hardware, modem/baseband, and RF ASIC teams.
- Create, develop, and optimize modem, RF transceiver, antenna, and RF front-end algorithms and software modules.
- Investigate complex RF and modem issues in cross-functional hardware and software environments.
- Collaborate with physical-layer, RF and modem systems, hardware, and test engineering teams to deliver new features and improve system performance, factory yields, and RF testability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Strong C or C++ programming and debugging skills on embedded real-time operating systems.
- Understanding of RF theory, digital communications, wireless communication systems, radio architecture, and software engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of LTE, 5G/5GNR, modem or communications device drivers, and embedded software is preferred or advantageous.
- Working knowledge of hardware and RF test equipment such as protocol test equipment, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes is advantageous.
- Fresh graduates should demonstrate understanding of C or C++, embedded software, digital and wireless communications, ECE fundamentals, and RF theory.
