Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services that support derivatives trading, including order processing and execution workflows.
- Improve system latency and throughput by analyzing performance bottlenecks and implementing targeted optimizations.
- Maintain and enhance systems that support trading accuracy, including data consistency and risk-related processes.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to support new contract launches and platform expansion.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, using metrics to guide improvements in stability and data integrity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments.
- Experience designing systems that require low latency and high throughput.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including AWS services.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL.
- Experience with trading systems or other distributed systems where performance and reliability are critical.
- Strong communication skills and a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of crypto derivatives markets, including perpetual futures and their trading lifecycle.
