Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features with elegant designs and high-quality, maintainable code.
- Design and deliver robust microservice integrations using REST and gRPC APIs.
- Mentor senior engineers through code, design, and architecture reviews.
- Help define technical direction, plan the roadmap, escalate issues, and synthesize feedback.
- Estimate and manage project timelines and risks.
- Use AI tools to accelerate design, implementation, and debugging across the stack.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.
- Lead cross-team engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- 7+ years of delivering value through software in a collaborative environment.
- Expertise in trade-off analysis for distributed architectures and familiarity with clean architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and ability to understand more than one; the current languages are C# and Kotlin.
- Experience with relational and document databases.
- Experience with AI-native development workflows and tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar.
- Ability to work across backend, mobile, and web stacks is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
