Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud-native services for the Skydio Simulator.
- Develop backend systems that interface with the simulator runtime.
- Create customer-facing workflows and APIs for simulation personalization.
- Implement full-stack features across backend and frontend applications.
- Collaborate with teams to translate simulator capabilities into customer features.
- Architect systems focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building backend and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience in modern frontend development with TypeScript and React.
- Knowledge of API design and consumption, including GraphQL.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work across system boundaries from cloud services to simulator interfaces.
- Strong product sense and excellent communication skills.
