Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Integrate external data sources and APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with mobile development technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Any graduate qualification.
- 2–5 years of professional Android development experience.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Android versions, and responsive handling of different screen sizes.
- Experience with MVVM or MVP architecture, Jetpack components, LiveData, and ViewModel.
- Knowledge of Firebase, Room Database, and Retrofit or OkHttp.
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and agile development processes.
- Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose is an additional qualification.
- Familiarity with unit, instrumentation, and UI testing frameworks is an additional qualification.
- Understanding of mobile security best practices is an additional qualification.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs is an additional qualification.
