Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art, ultra-realistic autonomous-driving simulations using foundation models
- Collaborate with Waymo Oxford teams to improve simulation realism using large models
- Design experiments to advance autonomous-vehicle simulation capabilities
- Develop metrics for measuring the realism of simulated worlds
- Train and evaluate large models and integrate them into the simulator and downstream applications
- Help hire research engineers from diverse backgrounds
- Productionize research ideas as part of a collaborative research engineering team
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applied deep learning
- 5+ years of coding and design experience
- Experience solving complex production problems using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques
- Experience taking research into production
- Expertise in data analysis or data science
