Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software running in mobile applications and web browsers for Device Intelligence products.
- Gather, send, and process data using systems-level programming techniques.
- Develop and debug C/C++ code involving memory management, concurrency, threading, and performance optimization.
- Write and debug browser JavaScript without relying on frameworks.
- Apply knowledge of HTTP, cookies, web sessions, and basic networking concepts to web application software.
- Participate in unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and source control.
- Research beyond standard documentation and collaborate with geographically dispersed engineering teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or coding agents to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- Approximately 8 years of experience in C++, ideally combined with 10 or more years across Java and C++.
- Strong C/C++ programming and systems-level programming skills, including memory management, concurrency, threading, and performance.
- Experience with Java and JavaScript, including writing and debugging JavaScript without frameworks.
- Solid understanding of HTTP and web application technologies, including cookies and web sessions.
- Knowledge of programming principles, unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and source control.
- Clear technical communication, collaboration across geographically dispersed teams, attention to detail, and willingness to research and learn.
