Responsibilities
- Develop and review test strategies, test plans, and test cases for core products and customer deliveries.
- Plan, estimate, execute, monitor, and report testing activities for internal and external software releases.
- Lead qualification, verification, and validation activities for MAD software and supporting tools.
- Write and review user manuals, integration guides, training materials, and test reports.
- Coach, guide, and support team members in test-related activities.
- Support requirements definition, traceability between requirements and test artifacts, and process gate compliance.
- Track software issues in the Quality Management System with sufficient detail to support investigation.
- Recommend release scope and schedule adjustments based on software quality and business value.
- Support compliance with the MAD AS9100 / AS9115 quality management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in software testing or verification and validation.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a highly regulated environment such as transportation, aviation, or health.
- Bilingualism in English and French is required.
- Demonstrated writing and documentation skills, strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Preferred: experience leading a software test team for an embedded product.
- Preferred: experience using IBM DOORS or equivalent requirements management tools.
