Responsibilities
- Develop and ship production firmware for avionics and ground support solutions.
- Implement and manage existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and implement fault-tolerant firmware drivers and middleware.
- Collaborate on architecture and design for system stability and performance.
- Build firmware evaluation tools for quality and performance assessment.
- Select microcontrollers and review schematics with the electrical engineering team.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to debug and harden systems.
Requirements
- BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
- 7+ years of experience in firmware/embedded software development.
- Strong C or C++ coding ability for embedded systems.
- Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
- Extensive experience with RTOS platforms and real-time scheduling.
- Experience developing firmware in bare-metal environments.
- Solid understanding of coding best practices and debugging.
- Familiarity with common bus protocols such as USB, SPI, and I2C.
- Experience with Continuous Integration Tools and automatic build environments.
- U.S. Persons status is required for access to export controlled data.
