Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software solutions on Silicon Labs wireless chips.
- Design and develop applications and wireless profiles on top of Silicon Labs protocol stacks.
- Participate in the development of Bluetooth product lines.
- Work with Applications Engineers to understand customer applications and provide effective solutions to customer requirements.
- Contribute to firmware and software development, build engineering, scripting, SDKs, sample applications, build tools, and development flows.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 0–2 years of software development experience; new college graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experience in embedded software development with embedded C.
- Knowledge of scripting languages.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Preferred: experience with Bluetooth, 802.15.4, or Zigbee.
- Preferred: knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols and network security technologies including TLS, IPsec, ECC, and PKI.
- Preferred: experience using simulations and hardware testing.
