Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and operate platform security services and controls using Python, Node.js, or Golang.
- Design, build, and optimize workflows that ingest, process, and distribute security data at scale.
- Architect maintainable, secure, and resilient microservices and platform integrations.
- Write clean, testable, and documented code, contribute to technical designs, and participate in code reviews.
- Expand platform security controls and apply secure coding and service-permission practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade software services.
- Hands-on mastery of Python, Node.js, or Golang.
- Strong experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures.
- Experience with cloud-native environments using AWS or Azure and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience building platform security controls, managing service permissions, and applying secure coding practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Vector, Terraform, policy-as-code tools, FedRAMP, SOC 2, multi-cloud security frameworks, or AI/ML tools for security automation.

- Annual base salary for candidates in Canada is CAD $136,000–$187,000, plus equity where applicable, bonus, and benefits.
