Base Salary
$54k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute API and UI automation scripts using Pytest and Playwright.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Refinement, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality within sprint timelines.
- Analyze automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and improve script stability.
- Communicate with client stakeholders about updates, requirements, and quality concerns.
- Coordinate with offshore teams on execution, defect tracking, and delivery alignment.
- Manage defects, test cases, and workflows in Jira.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of experience in QA or test automation.
- Require strong hands-on experience with API and UI automation using Pytest and Playwright or similar modern frameworks.
- Require strong programming skills in Python or Java for building and enhancing automation scripts.
- Require understanding of automation frameworks, testing concepts, and functional testing types.
- Require hands-on experience in Agile or Scrum environments and participation in ceremonies.
- Require client interaction and stakeholder communication experience.
- Require experience with onshore-offshore delivery models and coordination.
- Exposure to GenAI tools is requested.
