Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain enterprise SIEM solutions aligned with operational resilience and regulatory requirements.
- Lead Splunk deployment, configuration, optimization, architecture reviews, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Define telemetry governance standards for metrics, logs, and traces, including consistency, retention, and security.
- Integrate Splunk and observability tools with incident-management, ITSM, AIOps, CI/CD, and cloud landing-zone environments.
- Design and automate runbooks, alerts, self-healing workflows, and infrastructure provisioning using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Implement SRE frameworks, error budgets, reliability scorecards, service health indicators, and auto-remediation for mission-critical systems.
- Conduct resilience, chaos, and capacity testing aligned with business continuity and disaster recovery standards.
- Engineer SIEM visibility for AWS and Azure compute, storage, and network layers.
- Reduce incident recurrence, MTTR, and manual intervention through observability-led automation.
- Develop executive dashboards and reports covering availability, reliability KPIs, and operational risk indicators.
- Provide technical leadership during major incidents, post-incident reviews, architecture reviews, and audits.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering-related roles.
- At least 5 years specializing in SIEM/Splunk engineering or observability in financial or regulated environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Splunk, Elastic, Terraform, Ansible, Python, AWS, Azure, Datadog, and ServiceNow.
- Deep understanding of SRE principles, service health modeling, error budgets, and auto-remediation design.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, investigation, written communication, verbal communication, and stakeholder-interaction skills.
- Familiarity with financial-sector operational resilience frameworks, regulatory compliance, and incident governance.
- Preferred certifications include Splunk Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Architect, Terraform or Ansible or Python certifications, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, SRE Foundation or Practitioner, and ITIL v4 Managing Professional.
