Base Salary
$92k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement security checks, controls, risk assessments, and mitigations for AI infrastructure and AI-enabled development workflows.
- Monitor logs, alerts, system activity, and pipeline outputs; investigate vulnerabilities or unusual behavior and coordinate remediation.
- Provision, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design, write, review, and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code templates using Terraform, Serverless, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage AWS IAM permissions, roles, access controls, least-privilege practices, and periodic access reviews.
- Own and improve automated deployment pipelines, deployment controls, and rollback processes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, improve operational practices, and support safe releases.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for architectures, deployment processes, access controls, and security protocols.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in cloud operations, DevOps, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, systems engineering, software engineering, or web operations, including hands-on responsibility for production systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on AWS experience involving cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, security groups, and highly available web infrastructure.
- Applied knowledge of cloud security, least privilege, identity and access controls, encryption, secrets management, logging, vulnerability management, and secure configuration.
- Experience with security monitoring, incident triage, log and alert analysis, risk investigation, documentation, and remediation or escalation.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, or a comparable scripting language for operational and security automation.
- Practical experience with Git workflows, Bitbucket pipelines, pull requests, branching strategies, code review, and controlled change management.
- Experience responsibly using or governing AI coding assistants and automation tools, including protecting sensitive information and validating and documenting AI-assisted changes.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred but not required.
- Professional experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, secure software development, application security, AI infrastructure, or governance of AI-assisted engineering tools is highly desirable.
