Base Salary
$123k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create, assess, and harden infrastructure designs, systems, and access policy enforcement points for human users, workloads, and AI agents.
- Ensure access infrastructure and agentic workflows resist attacks, privilege misuse, and abuse.
- Develop technical, process, and engineering solutions to identify access risks and improve Google's security posture.
- Define safety guardrails and influence security improvements in products and enterprise AI agents.
- Advise engineering teams on authentication, authorization, and adaptive access control through security design reviews, threat modeling, and operational triage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with security assessments, security analysis, and cybersecurity.
- At least 1 year of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
- Experience with security engineering, computer and network security, security protocols, and automation tools and processes.
- Preferred experience with security design assessment, IAM, authentication, authorization, access-control models, and complex enterprise environments.
- Preferred experience building, securing, or evaluating AI agents and LLM workflows, including prompt engineering, agent skills, safety guardrails, and agentic security risks.
- Preferred experience applying statistical analysis and querying large datasets or access logs using SQL or custom scripts.
