Base Salary
$150k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of applications, embedded systems, backend services, and business integrations.
- Build tooling, frameworks, and systems that support secure development and prevent classes of vulnerabilities.
- Design and implement technical mitigations for security weaknesses in the robot and service stack.
- Hunt for vulnerabilities and insecure coding patterns across backend services and robot internal systems.
- Promote security and user privacy while collaborating with teams and stakeholders across the company.
Requirements
- Experience in application security domains such as penetration testing, vulnerability research, security assessment, secure coding, security architecture and design, or hardware security.
- Strong software engineering skills in C/C++, Rust, Golang, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience securing embedded systems, including secure boot, secure identity, or over-the-air updates.
- A solid foundation in web security, mobile security, or cryptography.
- A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
- At least three years of experience in application security or a related security role.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning and helping others.
