Base Salary
$66k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and deploy AI and machine-learning models and production data products.
- Create APIs, data pipelines, ML workflows, and supporting AI resources across the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, IT managers, data stewards, and data engineers to ensure high-quality, secure, private, and scalable AI workflows.
- Monitor AI output for performance drift and maintain documentation, reproducibility, reliability, continuous improvement, and retraining practices.
- Translate business needs into practical AI solutions and identify opportunities to improve student retention, academic outcomes, and school services.
- Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to cross-functional teams and support adoption of actionable data.
- Gather requirements, organize data sources, validate model outputs, and integrate AI models into products.
- Manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, and complete assigned work within critical deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience with modern machine-learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, plus understanding of statistical principles.
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for scalable, secure, high-performing environments.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining robust ML pipelines, including version control, containerization, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong analytical, planning, communication, accuracy, confidentiality, customer-service, independent-work, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, modern reporting platforms, and tools, plus the ability to understand complex digital platform concepts and business models.
- Ability to clear a required background check.
- Master’s or doctorate preferred; additional experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, NLP, recommender systems, or deep learning preferred.
