Responsibilities
- Provide software engineering advisory, planning, integration, architecture, maintenance, and enhancement support.
- Develop new features, fix bugs, and convert or upgrade legacy software using Java, C#, JavaScript/jQuery, PL/SQL, AWS, and database technologies.
- Create and maintain unit tests and perform integration testing across development, staging, and production environments.
- Support production deployments, release planning, release documentation, and release scripting.
- Create and maintain database objects including tables, views, triggers, functions, procedures, and packages.
- Maintain SQL Server databases used by the applications.
- Apply DoD standards, ATO controls, STIGs, and application security testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers for compliance with established standards and configuration guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an approved field such as computer science, information technology, engineering, cybersecurity, mathematics, or a related listed discipline.
- Hands-on software development experience with Visual Studio/C# and JavaScript/jQuery, Java, or PL/SQL.
- Cloud-based development experience, preferably with AWS GovCloud.
- Proficiency in SQL and code versioning tools such as Git.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is desired.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, software development lifecycles, automation toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, and container images is desired.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
