Responsibilities
- Translate application user stories into functional applications.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable, testable, and secure Java code.
- Design and build APIs following microservices principles.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop solutions to fix issues.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant experience, primarily in Java backend development.
- Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Knowledge of MVC, JDBC, RESTful services, microservices, API security, authentication, authorization, OAuth, OpenID, JWT, SAML, and SSO.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, ORM technologies, JPA2, and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with REST, messaging, streaming, SOAP, cloud providers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Familiarity with Node.js, .NET, or Kotlin is a plus.
