Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale data ingestion and analytics systems.
- Design and develop real-time and batch data pipelines for disparate datasets.
- Develop highly normalized data storage systems that support correlation with other data sources.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to design and integrate software.
- Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot product issues.
- Perform proofs of concept to identify design options, including AWS service usage.
- Research integration options for SaaS and IaaS technologies and incorporate user-administration API research into application integrations.
Requirements
- Prior experience performing the same role in a SaaS security product company.
- At least seven years of relevant work experience in similar roles.
- In-depth knowledge of Java, SQL, Kafka or Kinesis, EMR or SPARQL, Snowflake, AWS Neptune, Gremlin, and TinkerPop.
- Hands-on experience developing scalable data lakes, data ingestion and processing pipelines, and data access microservices in multi-tenant AWS environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
- AWS Certified Developer certification is highly desired.
- Understanding of DevOps, microservices architecture, and Docker technologies is preferred.
