
Lead QA Automation Engineer (FX)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain QA automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, and Maven.
- Design and execute FIX protocol testing across pricing, quote, and order workflows.
- Perform server-side, API, integration, functional, regression, database, load, stress, and fault-tolerance testing for the PriceStream platform.
- Validate infrastructure and deployments in AWS Viking cloud environments.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for test environment setup and automation.
- Build mocks and simulator components to support robust and isolated test environments.
- Lead QA processes, test strategy implementation, test plan maintenance, and shift-left quality practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and manage multiple projects.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of QA automation experience.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, best practices, technical architecture, and test strategy implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, Maven, API testing, GUI testing, and database testing.
- Hands-on experience testing the FIX protocol and strong server-side, backend, and integration testing experience.
- Experience with infrastructure testing and AWS Viking cloud environments.
- Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
- Preferred experience with Kafka messaging, FX trading or financial technology, performance troubleshooting, and debugging distributed systems.
- Ability to build mocks and simulator components for automation.
