Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Linux-based environments and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Podman.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents and platform issues across private and public cloud deployments.
  • Ensure platform stability, availability, performance, and operational reliability.
  • Develop and maintain complex Bash automation scripts and contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives.
  • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps practices across the platform ecosystem.
  • Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry systems using observability tooling.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks for business-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and infrastructure teams on deployment, modernization, legacy migration, and cloud adoption projects.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments.
  • Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
  • Advanced Bash scripting skills for complex automation scripts.
  • Experience with AWS services and hybrid deployments across private and public clouds.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including interfaces, routing, connectivity, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automation and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, reliability focus, and professional written and spoken English.
  • Development experience in C# or Java and familiarity with .NET or JVM-based applications is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Linux CPU architecture, memory management, and performance tuning is preferred.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management, operational support, legacy-platform modernization, complex deployment pipelines, and self-hosted tooling or infrastructure services is preferred.
