Base Salary
$135k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy on complex enterprise opportunities.
- Run deep technical discovery and architecture workshops with various teams.
- Design and build custom prototypes for high-value use cases.
- Present Sigma’s architecture and AI runtime story to diverse audiences.
- Own the technical narrative on RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
- Advise on integration, migration, governance, and AI patterns.
- Position Sigma against competitors and defend that position with architecture.
- Build reusable SA assets like architecture patterns and playbooks.
- Shape the product by filing feature requests and collaborating with Product and Engineering.
- Mentor SEs and contribute to team resources.
- Manage multiple enterprise engagements simultaneously.
- Earn and maintain relevant product, sales, and technology certifications.
- Achieve quarterly and annual targets set by management.
Requirements
- 8+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data platform roles.
- At least 3 years in a customer-facing technical role.
- Deep expertise in at least one cloud data warehouse: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of modern data architecture.
- Experience with ETL and transformation tools like dbt or Fivetran.
- Daily user of modern AI tools and comfortable discussing AI concepts.
- Track record of leading complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Ability to engage with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate in a high-velocity environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
