Base Salary

$135k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical strategy on complex enterprise opportunities.
  • Run deep technical discovery and architecture workshops with various teams.
  • Design and build custom prototypes for high-value use cases.
  • Present Sigma’s architecture and AI runtime story to diverse audiences.
  • Own the technical narrative on RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
  • Advise on integration, migration, governance, and AI patterns.
  • Position Sigma against competitors and defend that position with architecture.
  • Build reusable SA assets like architecture patterns and playbooks.
  • Shape the product by filing feature requests and collaborating with Product and Engineering.
  • Mentor SEs and contribute to team resources.
  • Manage multiple enterprise engagements simultaneously.
  • Earn and maintain relevant product, sales, and technology certifications.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual targets set by management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data platform roles.
  • At least 3 years in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Deep expertise in at least one cloud data warehouse: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of modern data architecture.
  • Experience with ETL and transformation tools like dbt or Fivetran.
  • Daily user of modern AI tools and comfortable discussing AI concepts.
  • Track record of leading complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Ability to engage with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate in a high-velocity environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
