Base Salary

$59k - $110k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and cases based on system requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software performance and functionality.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects.
  • Analyze test results, investigate issues, and collaborate with development and test teams on root causes.
  • Communicate with government customers to validate requirements and clarify engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with systems, software, and senior integration/test engineers on validation and verification requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, test methodology, and potential problems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including SysML-based system models.
  • Create and maintain the test automation suite.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or have completed a bachelor's degree within the last 12 months in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include an active U.S. DoD TS/SCI security clearance and Security+ CE certification.
  • Preferred candidates have knowledge of Space Domain Awareness engineering efforts and familiarity with MBSE, MBT, SysML, Eggplant or similar testing tools, and Jira/Confluence or equivalents.
  • Preferred candidates have familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework and DevSecOps methodology, Java and C++ application software, and Linux proficiency.
