Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions.
- Build and integrate software using Java, Spring Boot, APIs, event streaming, messaging, distributed caching, and database technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and implement effective unit testing practices.
- Apply secure coding practices, manage risks, and strengthen controls related to software development.
- Design and optimize MS SQL solutions and support DevOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
- Mentor and guide junior team members and lead collaborative technical assignments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Expertise with Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Kafka, MQ, and distributed caching such as Coherence.
- Strong object-oriented programming and software design principles, including Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience with MS SQL design and performance optimization.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes or OpenShift deployments, API Gateway patterns, and Gradle build management.
- Hands-on AWS experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, mentoring, and team leadership abilities.
