Responsibilities
- Participate in feasibility studies, planning, estimation, risk assessment, application development, model development, and implementation of new or revised systems.
- Manage and contribute to application analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user or operational support.
- Design and develop secure, scalable, resilient, high-performance enterprise applications, APIs, and web services.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Define and implement testing strategies covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation, and application deployments in cloud and containerized environments.
- Use messaging platforms and security principles to support reliable and secure application integration.
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and coach new or lower-level analysts.
- Follow operating standards, compliance procedures, and risk-control requirements.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of proven experience in the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Expert proficiency in Core Java, Java EE/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Microservices, RESTful API design, collections, and multithreading.
- Extensive experience designing integrated enterprise-grade solutions with scalability, availability, resilience, and data consistency requirements.
- Experience developing secure APIs and web services and applying authentication, authorization, encryption, and security protocols.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, debugging, performance optimization, and high test coverage.
- Hands-on experience with high-throughput messaging platforms such as Solace or Kafka.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes; AWS ECS and Red Hat OpenShift experience is advantageous.
- Interest or experience in using AI-powered tools and solutions to enhance development workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
