Responsibilities
- Design and develop resilient on-premises and multicloud database solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Python.
- Build high-performance concurrent and asynchronous Python solutions for large-scale data and metadata operations.
- Develop secure database, ETL, full-stack, API, backend, and integration capabilities.
- Build self-service tools, operational dashboards, workflow automation, and metadata-driven solutions.
- Develop AI-driven capabilities for discovering, classifying, and protecting sensitive information in unstructured data.
- Create automation and tooling for data engineering and application development teams.
- Contribute to modernization, platform standardization, observability, scalability, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and implementing complex database, data, and full-stack application solutions.
- Strong database and data engineering experience across platforms such as PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase, Snowflake, Azure SQL, MongoDB, Teradata, and Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, and Angular.
- Understanding of API design, microservices architecture, OAuth, service principals, token-based authentication, and secure application development.
- At least 2 years of experience writing complex multithreaded, multiprocess, concurrent, and asynchronous Python scripts.
- Experience with distributed computing tools such as Apache Spark for Python is preferred.
- Experience designing AI-powered solutions using LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows is preferred.
- Extensive experience building and optimizing data pipelines and data architectures, preferably with Talend, Kafka, and/or Informatica.
- Expertise in performance optimization, scalability, troubleshooting, analytical problem-solving, and software design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
