Responsibilities
- Build platforms and developer experiences that abstract PKI and certificate complexity.
- Design APIs, abstractions, and configuration models for intent-based security experiences.
- Automate certificate lifecycle management for services and application developers.
- Create and implement product, service, or feature code.
- Break down larger work items and provide estimates.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual in on-call operations and respond to service degradation or outages.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and compliance teams on security initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or comparable languages.
- Experience shipping and operating services at scale.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- Successful completion of Microsoft and Microsoft Cloud background checks upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
