Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software components and applications.
- Write secure, high-quality code using one or more modern programming languages.
- Develop and maintain UI and front-end applications with consideration for upstream and downstream systems.
- Use and critically validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools, automation capabilities, secure coding standards, and operational stability practices.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred: experience using AI to create user experiences and developing with HTML/CSS and React/UI/front-end applications.
