Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Signals video UI codebase and its development lifecycle.
- Lead knowledge transfer from the current vendor UX designer.
- Partner with the video and streaming backend team on the end-to-end streaming experience.
- Establish frontend standards for testing, accessibility, and performance.
- Prepare the frontend team and codebase for a second frontend hire later in 2027.
Requirements
- 7+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Strong experience building real-time video UIs, including WebRTC clients and media players.
- Deep experience with a modern frontend framework, with React preferred.
- Accessibility- and performance-first mindset.
- Ability to own a customer-facing surface end to end.
- Security or surveillance product UI experience is preferred.
- Design system authoring experience is preferred.
- Experience inheriting a codebase from a vendor or design agency is preferred.
