Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and related automation technologies.
- Create and maintain automated tests across web, mobile, API, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing domains.
- Develop reusable automation assets, utilities, libraries, and testing patterns.
- Automate testing for web ordering, mobile apps, APIs, payments, store systems, and omnichannel integrations.
- Support release validation for menu, pricing, promotions, loyalty, commerce, payment, and operational platform capabilities.
- Integrate automated testing, API validation, performance testing, and quality gates into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve automation execution reliability, test stability, reporting, and deployment confidence.
- Develop and execute K6 performance testing solutions and analyze performance results.
- Develop and maintain automated API validation, integration, and service-level test suites.
- Validate service contracts, integrations, and data flows across critical business applications.
- Support test data creation, management, and validation strategies.
- Mentor QA Engineers and recommend automation, framework, and quality engineering improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software quality engineering experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on automation engineering experience.
- Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and scalable test suites in enterprise-level delivery environments.
- Experience mentoring team members and promoting automation adoption across teams.
- Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience building automation solutions using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience automating REST API testing, service validation, and integration testing.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, SDLC practices, test reporting, quality metrics, and automation execution analytics.
- Preferred experience with K6, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, SQL, data validation, cloud-hosted applications, and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, AI-enabled testing solutions, RAG, or agent-based workflows.
- Experience supporting retail, eCommerce, point-of-sale, payment, loyalty, or omnichannel platforms is preferred.
- Experience with containerized or cloud-native environments and ISTQB or equivalent certification is preferred.
