Base Salary
$153k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain embedded software, firmware components, and computing systems software.
- Apply software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the systems development life cycle.
- Perform requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and integration of embedded software on target hardware.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and technical and support personnel.
- Support critical defense products and capabilities within the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting, and Survivability division.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with 12+ years of relevant engineering experience, or a master’s degree with 10+ years, or a PhD with 8+ years.
- Experience with object-oriented programming in C or C++; Java familiarity is preferred.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Batch.
- Experience developing embedded software running on Linux or VxWorks real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with software architecture, design patterns, object-oriented design, CI/CD pipeline development, version control systems, Agile planning tools, and modeling tools.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain at least a Secret clearance before starting, with additional customer-specified clearance as required.
- Ability to travel occasionally to support program and customer needs.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills are preferred.
